What I still find strange here is that you can't pick up common over-the-counter medicines like paracetamol, cough syrup or laxatives in a shop or supermarket. They are only available from a farmacia, which may not be open close by. However, a plethora of herbal remedies are available (at a cost), some of which have interesting labels....
