Bows

After 3 decades of being a one trick pony it puts a wry smile on my face how much I'm coming to enjoy going for a paddle - of course unseasonal sunshine does help. I'm also quietly pleased at my progress - I'm not nervous to be out on the water by myself anymore - I'm happy to be far from the shore and I positively loved playing in the launches wake - practicing skills in the little tributaries was also a laugh - next time I'll go to the river.

In the middle of Ullswater I paused to relax in the sun, watch the world go by and reflect that the best bows usually have more than one string.
