Golden hour

The best laid plans always get undermined. I knew what my picture was to be today and then one of the best sunrises of the year appeared. These pictures were taken well before the sun actually appeared but the colour was dramatic and the whole bay glowed. My neighbours who normally would not be seen at such an early hour were out with their tablets and mobile phones and planning to send pictures to their distant families.
