Great lunch

Yesterday morning on the way from Queenstown to Invercargill, S had noticed this cafe in Athol. After his surgery yesterday afternoon, and a night in hospital, Mr H was discharged today with his leg in plaster. So impressed by his conduct after coming out of the anaesthetic. He thanked the nurse, the anaesthetic technician, surgeon, and anyone who did anything for him. He took himself to the toilet on his crutches from pretty early on. And made minimal complaints about pain. My extra is of him sitting in the cafe (which is shown in the main blip) while waiting for lunch.

Everyone is now tired and needing an early night. A quiet day tomorrow, with a slow visit to Arrowtown the main plan.
