Burned Out

I did not accomplish what I intended photographically, but I did notice quickly that my attention in the photo was drawn quickly to the light that is burned out over the various bright ones.  I have an affinity for lanterns.  Is there a message in seeing the dark one so easily? There are so many Bible passages about living in the light, however, I find myself drawn to darkness here as sometimes happens in life.
