Tahou/silvereye in a kowhai tree

There were lots of kowhai in flower along the cemetery part of the estuary walk. All of them had something feeding in them, mostly silvereye but how many decent photos did I get- one half decent.

I got a good walk anyway and did my 10,000 steps no trouble.

We have been in the garden most of the day fiddling with a new irrigation set up for the citrus. Not needed at the moment with rain and showers predicted for most of the next two weeks.
