Freeport Blipmeet

Today we drove up to Freeport in Maine for a little Blipmeet with the lovely Susanbmathew ( https://www.blipfoto.com/Susanbmathew ) and her husband Donal. I recognised her straight away from her pictures on Blip but even if I hadn't, her signature 'Cowboy' boots were a dead giveaway! We had an excellent lunch and got on very well, finishing up with a look around the 'British' shop nearby where I advised a couple of customers on the best jams and marmalade to buy (Tiptree and Frank Cooper respectively; avoid the one we'd never heard of!).

Afterwards we had a look round the LL Bean store, and went round several of the factory shops where Wendy bought three blouses/tops for around $50 which would have cost about £150 at home; quite a bargain.

Maine lobster tonight; we're walking down to Mabel's Lobster Shack for dinner. Last time we were in there, George W Bush had been in the previous night with his family!
