Rapitan
As the text is long I put here only the Englis version, the Spanish one is here
Not every day you step on a castle, a fortress. The views are truly spectacular, everything looks Jaca at the foot of the mountain in the middle of the valley. And the historical remains of the fort are also to admire. As I am not so well the story is going to copy and paste from the website of Jaca:
Raised on a hill on the north side of Jaca, Fort Rapitán has witnessed the rapid growth of the city in the last century but also of the saddest episodes of the recent local history.
On its walls fell shot dozens of Republicans in the early days of the Civil War. The time has diluted that mark Rapitán tragic and now has become the city hall, the place where it receives and welcomes more illustrious visitors, from the Kings of Spain to the IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch. Its refurbished halls are a seal of distinction.
On Monday 23 October 1884 work began on clearing and grading of the future castle in mount Rapitán, which since 1675 had been spent by the council to grass. The majestic work was primarily defensive in nature. Its location at the entrance of the Valley of Aragon gave it a decisive strategic importance for the defense of the state border.
In 1886 he had completed the wide, winding driveway to the top and in 1890 come from the casting of cannons to fortify eleven Trubia the future castle. The work was enormous. Launched alongside the Coll de Ladrones strong Canfranc and Santa Elena in Lourdes, the State spent about six million pesetas, of which "vast majority is left among the laboring class of this city and its surroundings," according said in Aragon Pyrenees in 1887 its director Francisco Limerick. Only in April of that year worked in the construction of two hundred and fifty laborers Rapitán and numerous flowerbeds.
To overcome the drawback of the terrain, Mr. Nogues Huesca produced an extensive hemp cable 37 meters and 200 kilos on the heavy guns were raised. The great demand for laborers managed to save the catastrophic situation in which this was the population center in a city quite often punished by numerous epidemics. Rapitán works continued until the end of the century.

I like to explore, go in through corners ... because that's where you see things others do not get to see. Shame to see on the computer that something was misconfigured on the camera because the colors have come out are not what they had to, do not correspond with reality (and the white balance does not fail, well xD). For this reason I said I edited the picture a bit by adjusting the tones.
To end today's post I leave a picture of me watching the sunset.
