Old And New

Old Sunday routine was replaced by a new one - mainly because I've no kitchen - walked along the canal - spotting these old and new builds - after checking out replacement furniture

Having had little to eat - decided to catch the bus to Bingley - had a beer in The Brown Cow - got talking to a young couple who had just started doing walks around the area - had to compare notes

Went for a curry - got talking to someone who was picking up a takeaway he'd ordered online - turns out he'd ordered it from Birmingham - not Bingley - restaurant with the same name

Caught the bus home - meeting folk from the village we'd not seen for some time - more talking and laughing - pleasing that others on the bus were joining in

Final stop at the local - hard to pass on the way home - invited to sit with airedaleknitter and friends - more talk and laughter - received a thank you note for helping at the local Horticultural Show
