Mandarin duck

I blipped this fine fellow back on 28th February.  Since then it has been discovered that he has a leg ring, and that he was ringed in Stavanger, Norway.  It seems that at least since 2011 he has been wintering in Aberdeen and going to Norway in the summer.  In Aberdeen, he has the company of a dozen mallards and a family of moorhens (see Extras).
