The two cannas that we bought earlier this year have exploded into colour while we were away.

Got into the garden this afternoon, not knowing how long this decent weather is going to last.  We do seem to have quite a few plants to plant...

I spent the later afternoon clearing the debris from around the railway footing.  Then cut out the dead and overhanging bits from the laurel forest - and thereby filled the area with debris again.

Ho hum.
