Morning mist rising, the Holy Loch

The best laid plans....

This morning I was meant to be at the monthly SNP constituency meeting in Tarbert but just as I was preparing to leave the house to go west, I was asked to go east and across the Clyde in order to do some media  interviews about the announcements on Brexit from the Tory Party Conference.

Coming back from Gourock , where the BBC had sent a satellite truck, the persistent morning mist was finally rising along the Clyde, leaving washed out colours and the sails of those keen to be out on the water for (perhaps) one of the last sailing days of the season.

I eventually got  across Loch Fyne in the early afternoon  ,  just in time to give my report  It was lovely there too.
