Evening flight

I visited on birthday at Mikkeli city today and on the way back to home I stopped also for some geocaches. One cache was at Kiesilänkoski and there I met this Grey Heron standing on the stone. At first look I thought it to be very nice statue on very nice scene, but then I noticed it was turning it's head, hence I quickly run to my car to pick up my 100-400 mm lense to get this beautiful bird captured. I don't know why this one has decide to stay here, as usually herons have left Finland already on August. It was looking healhty so maybe it just likes the location...at least I did (check the extra).
