Small things

For whatever reason, I've been thinking quite a lot about the small things in life.  Grand gestures and great events have their place but it is little, taken-for-granted, happens-every-day things which all add up to make a sustainable difference to the quality of our lives.

I was thinking about this on the Cooriedog walk this morning.   The spiders have been busy and the misty, damp mornings highlight their work.  There were some beautiful sights this morning.  I chose the spiders work on the barbed wire fence as my blip.  These wee creatures just going about their business turn a symbol of aggression to a something of considerable beauty.

It resonated with my thoughts.
