To Norway and Beyond

Posebymarked

I went down to the Poseby market this afternoon, which is an outdoor market that runs in the summertime in the Posebyen part of town. It's also apparently Europe's biggest continuous chain of connected wooden houses, which at some point in time I'll post a picture of to show you what I mean.

It was smaller than I expected, but possibly because this is I think the 2nd last week it's running. It was a lot of antiques like the ones I took a picture of here and a few crafts tables. In Norway there seems to be a surplus of hand-cranked sewing machines; every table seemed to have 2 or 3. When I told Marius he laughed and said it's true, his mother has one for him if he ever wants it!

The summer run was also on today so town was very crowded with participants and spectators.
