European

There has been a massive European orienteering event in the village today.

I spotted competitors from Great Britain, Ireland, Switzerland, France, Russia, Sweden, Norway and Russia. Needless to say it has not been promoted within the village so I was a bit surprised to come across them this morning.

As I left to visit Hubby's dad the sun was shining, the competitors were still to be seen and the carpark was full. When I returned cars were parked along our road as the carpark was full. 

It has been a great day weather wise for them. Just wish these events were promoted more for the locals to enjoy too.
