Investments
I remember when each of Tamara's nieces were born. I remember the prayers, the hope, the investment of time, the courage to face life's challenges and difficult choices along the way when she had her own plans, but had the opportunity to care for them. I remember Tamara making a decision that she wanted to invest in their little lives and to choose them over herself and her own plans when possible. We have so loved these little princesses. It is rare that we see them now, so they barely remember us, but we sure remember them, and we had a chance to build a new memory hanging out in the mall with them, so we grabbed it!
I loved big sister's excitement over her new journal with a lock. Her very own! A little kitty on the front that said "Keep Your Paws Off" ~ which inspired a conversation about being polite when you ask people to leave your things alone and try never to say this phrase with a mean tone.
Little sis is developing her leadership skills. She is confident and loves to lead the parade. What a joy they are, and what a privilege to share in their lives.
