Back Seat

Due to us all having the cold, hubby decided to take the day off as annual leave, and we didn't send H to nursery. Hubby gave me a longer lie in the spare room and took O in with him (poor little chap can hardly breathe when lying down) as for once he doesn't seem to be suffering as badly as the rest of us. We made good use of the day and did lots of chores around the house - like sorting out the masses of paperwork that has been accumulating recently.

Hubby also spent some time tinkering with the bicycle he bought at the weekend and fitted the child seat he bought the other day. He took H for a short ride around the block - she was quite worried about falling off at first and it was a bit awkward to get her on and off whilst balancing the bike, but she enjoyed it and I guess they will master a technique for mounting and dismounting!
