Democracy

Much chatter this evening on twitter about the Great Repeal Bill. And many echoes of our current political predicament in the play we went to see - Democracy by Michael Frayn, in a new production by Rapture Theatre currently touring Scotland. We both found it offered huge amounts of food for thought. So did two journalists/political commentators we know whom we saw outside afterwards. This reviewer didn't like it, but I have to say I don't agree.

It topped off a fairly quiet day. I confronted, but failed to scale, the ironing mountain. But some progress was made on a number of other domestic fronts.
