West to East

It was hard to say goodbye to Clachtoll today, especially as it was a blazing hot sunshine day but we managed to pack up early enough to squeeze in a couple of beach hours and dip into the clear water. Sam and Tess are rockpooling in the middle outcrop here. We're now back in the East coast in Aberdeenshire, via lunch in Ullapool and an icecream in Granton. Kids are still up but bedtime beckons as our much needed week on the west coast comes to an end. It was our best Assynt trip yet, over the years they've got better and better.
