Induction Service a Newbury Baptist Church.

As you may recall from a few weeks ago, my brother started a new job as Minister at Newbury Baptist Church. Today was the formal induction service where the appointment was made official. As part of the service, some of the children of the church presented Richard with an Olive tree in a pot which they had all signed. They then asked him some questions about how he would carry out his role. They included such things as, "Will you teach us about God?" and "Will you answer all our questions?" - No pressure then!! It was an excellent service followed by a superb tea. The  picture is of a splendid Welcome cake baked by one of the members.
