Lacave

We went to Rocamadour today which is one of France's most visited towns. It is amazing, and understandable why it is so popular. On the way home we pulled over so I could take this photo of Lacave.... I think it is a perfect choice to be made into a jigsaw.

It was rather hot and we were concerned Reggie had got too warm especially climbing the 200+ steps to the church at the top of Rocamadour so we stopped at the riverside at Le Rouffillac to have a picnic and let Reggie have a swim and cool down. It worked a treat. 

The evening we walked into Beynac so we could book our favourite restaurant for Saturday night. I was fortunate enough to get a photo of a kingfisher on the way back...... a first for me despite often seeing kingfishers at home . It isn't the best ( see extra) but I am delighted to have finally photographed one.
