meet Howlet

E. and her dad decided to get a pet.
She really wanted budgies, I guess a hamster was kind of a compromise.
An animal in a cage is not my kind of a thing, and after a week of having it I can say it's not a great pet. We didn't really get a chance to tame it, as it sleeps all day and it bit E. once when she wanted to stroke him (she'll know better not to interrupt him when he's going to sleep).
It seems that the wheel keeps him occupied most of the night- it makes such a racket I woke up during the night ;(
oh and it stinks too, 3 days after cleaning the cage.
