Anglesey Abbey & Dahlias

Dropped Dog of with son #1 at 11am, only an hour later than planned! Made our way towards Cambridge in driving, pouring rain.

Anglesey Abbey was lovely, definitely want to revisit as we didn't see any of the gardens in the rain. Their Dahlia Festival was on its last day and I particularly liked the idea of choosing ones favourite dahlia, picking and placing in the dahlia line. We couldn't see the end, it was so long.

Blipping from hotel bedroom now that I have been fortified with a Starbucks, am going to get ready soon for dinner and hopefully will have at least enough wine to give me a good night's sleep!
