Beer Can House

Took a spontaneous post-breakfast trip to the 'Beer Can House' today, a house that the slightly eccentric John Milkovisch decorated with around 50,000 beer cans.

It all started when he "got fed up with mowing the lawn" and covered the garden with concrete decorated with marbles and rocks. Eventually he moved onto the house, covering every inch with flattened beer cans and bottles, and then hanging huge garlands of even more beer cans from the roof. It took him 8 years overall and when asked about it he said:
"I don't consider this art. It's just a pastime. But sometimes I lie awake at night, trying to figure out why I do it".
