On probation

This fabulous piece lifts the grounds of a nearby bail hostel. The three lads sitting in the sunshine of the gardens wanted to know if I was alright. Just a case of serial blipping.

After a comfortable night in the tent, woken by serial car alarms and then a blackbird imitating the same, I had breakfast in tent. Lovely. I had a scoot on my own to the village, a quick lunch and then left Mrs P for a chat with Jenny and got the boys down to the station for the train to town. AKHF and mv met us at St Michaels. We walked to Seffy park and had a tea by the lake. The new pedaloes were waiting in the middle, but all madness of liverpool surrounded us. A Chinese wedding, the odd family, with dad taking a dip looking for a lost shoe. Ben was worried about Weils disease. And then for an early dinner to TriBeCa (ex Greenbank project) on Smithdown Road. My old haunts have changed a little, but the street names remain the same. Pizza with Karina, Chris and James was very jolly. The rules of the next Olympic sport, pizza napkin basket, were refined. Back to camp, Joey and next door's cat who is also on probation for its previous cat burgling attempts. What a neighbourhood. Love it.
