Aberdeenshire - Day 5

Today has been the best weather so far in Cruden Bay and sadly I'm leaving :(.

To say its been an emotional day would be an understatement.  But I have many memories with which to remember the CBLs, Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire and Scotland.

As my departure was in the afternoon, Stewart & Carol squeezed in a walk on the now famous Cruden Bay beach. Here's CBL's view of our walk and my picture is of the back of where we were, which reminded me very much of the gorgeous beaches in Australia. Look at that blue sky!!!!

It was a wonderful being there with them and even getting our feet a little wet.  Yes, I have walked in the icy cold waters of the North Sea. Phoooowoah, a little fresh, it was!!!

They also took me to the church that they worship at in Cruden Bay.  A lovely church from the 18th century that looked warm and inviting and was set up for a wedding later that day.

The extra photos are the CBLs on their beach and Carol's and my shoes on the beach.  And my very first picture of a cemetery.  It actually looked beautiful.

So, my first time to Scotland with the most gracious, loving hosts you could imagine.  Needless to say, tears were shed as we said goodbye!

May I kindly remind everyone, and sorry for not mentioning this earlier, tomorrow is October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM).  So in the past years, many blippers have been blipping PINK things for all of October and adding a  LINK to click on a pink bar which donates free mammograms to those who need it.  Every click counts, so may I encourage you to click as often as your device allows ;-).
