End of the season

Here is my last photograph of the hydrangea in my sister's back garden.  I've blipped it several times over the course of the spring and summer, as the color gradually changed to an incredible deep blue and then began to fade.  The flowers are dry and browning now and will soon be gone, but I look forward to seeing them again next year.
