Cable Car

Last day of holiday, checked out and spent the morning sightseeing. We watched the cable cars turning at the end of the line, done manually. We then walked up and down and up again to the cable car museum, where the main operations are for the cable cars. Another walk up and down to Lombard Street, a very steep curved street before catching a cable car back to Union Square. A quick lunch in china town, before heading to the airport and enjoying the benefits of BA lounge. The end to a great and varied holiday – diving with great white sharks, museums, giant redwoods, baseball game, universal studios, Yosemite and the quirkiness of San Fran. Dad should have his heart valve replacement operation tonight. Won’t find out how it went until we land tomorrow.
