Bike races on the beach

Over 40 years ago, there used to be regular bike races on Kirkcaldy beach. The event has been resurrected , initially as a one-off, but the organisers are hoping it may become an annual event.

An overcast afternoon was ideal meaning no contrasty sunlight but a cold wind from the sea meant it wasn't so pleasant to spectate.

I took lots of pictures and was surprised how many came out well considering I have never photographed such a subject before. In the absence of any landscape or nature shots, you'll have to bear with me for one day and suffer this little diversion with me.
