Barn on Longstone Fell

Day 7 of the Dales High Way, from Dent to Sedburgh.

This was almost a rest day; just a short easy walk over Longstone Fell to Sedburgh. The weather was cooler than it had been for the first few days the walk, which makes walking more enjoyable.

We sat up on the fell for an hour or so after lunch, reading, before descending into Sedburgh.

In the background are the Howgill Fells, that we will cross tomorrow.
