Arty boy at work

A self claimed "arty boy" has been colouring this for the past couple of days. He was telling me how arty he is and how he's one of the 3 arty boys in his class. He's done a very lovely job of his colouring in.
This morning I took a friend and her gorgeous baby to a Macmillan cancer coffee morning at the local community centre. A c-section has meant she can't get out much so I was happy to step up to help. Purely altruistic honest :-D it was very nice cake!
This afternoon we did shoe shopping - sadly only for the boys. But happily the shoes they chose also happened to fit them best - phew! I celebrated by buying bread and brioche at the German bakery and then we went to the Edinburgh bookshop.
I was a bit miffed when I got back to the car to find a ticket had been issued. I had paid using the ring-go app, and have never had that happen before. So annoying as I have to email my dispute and then wait 28 days for a reply! Despite me being expected to pay up within 14 days - different standards for the council it seems!
