Old Warden Tunnel

We thought we would take our four legged friends to the nature reserve at Old Warden Tunnel today for a walk. Lovely time had by all. Few extras if you're interested in having a look. The last one is zoomed in through the access hole and the white dot is the other end. 3/4 of a mile long. Have been through it before when I was young. My house where I was born and grew up is just at the other end.
My parents moved from London when they got married in 1955 and at that time trains were still running on the Hitchin to Bedford line. After the line closed, courtesy of Mr Beeching, they filmed a short clip for the film Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines with Terry Thomas.
