Happy Frame

Sleepless night - too happy and excited to sleep.  Feeling blessed.

The sheer luxury of retirement means that if I have a sleepless night I can often cancel plans for the next day rather than push myself to fulfil them.  

Slow start catching up with admin in bed as the weather went from wild and grey to increasingly sunny and bright.  

I found myself looking for excuses to stay in the bedroom, if not quite in bed, unwilling to miss the changing light and increasing warmth.

Sitting room faces north and has its own attractions but I predict I'll spend more time in the bedroom as winter approaches.  Didn't make it out the door today, such luxury.
