Craigtoun Country Park

We went to Craigtoun Park this morning. It turned out a glorious hot and sunny day, despite yesterday's forecast for heavy rain and thundery showers!

The park is a bit run down these days but there is still a fantastic adventure play area and trampolines as well as this little train. We all took a ride on the train and Kerr, Abigail and Lucy got these flags as souvenirs.

In the afternoon we hit the beach. A fabulous time was had splashing in the sea, building sand castles and generally getting sand in places I didn't think sand could go!
