Rugged cross

Sometimes things are not all they seem at first glance.

I found this rugged cross in Alvie churchyard and it really stood out amongst the more polished stones. I loved the simplicity of the design when I found it and was moved by the lettering when I looked at the other face of the cross. A lasting monument of such a short life.
