bushy park

we love this park. Going against my better judgement I decided to take the naughty jasper there for a walk. It is difficult taking pictures with a spaniel at the end of a leash! He decided to chase a bird and despite the fact that he hates water he went straight in the lake. I guess he thought the lovely green surface of duck weed was grass. he got a big shock. he didn't learn and then did it again later but this time was muddy too. 
main shot is a young heron and the extra was a stag hiding in the ferns but bellowing in very low tones
