Bill Calabria

He is the owner of Calabria family wines . Pictured here with his grandfather who came out to NSW in 1921 from Italy , leaving behind his wife , to work on the agriculture land and grape fields around Griffith . Also pictured was his father who came later with his grandmother and left his family behind ! They all then emigrated and Bill is the youngest of 9 children . The end product is a great family running a well renowned winery .
He has converted a concrete tank that previously stored the wine , into a beautiful function room with the barrels on display and the concrete walls looking superb coated with a wax. He was delighted to show us around
