Tap! Tap! Tap!

I was in my office this morning and heard a tap.....tap.....tap outside my window so I grabbed my camera to see who was out on the birch tree. I found this Red Bellied Sapsucker contentedly  for his dinner. Later the sunset was beautiful with shades of pink, coral, red, purple and blue......bright and striking.......but you will have to take my word for it since I was at a friends house overlooking the coast range with NO camera. It was a spiritual retreat so it would not have been appropriate to bring my camera.
