Warwick

It was a hazy but warm day, today. We went into Stratford this morning for coffee; then lunch in the garden with the papers.

This afternoon we went to Warwick to visit Maureen and Ian who had moved into their new flat yesterday. They were surprisingly calm and unstressed and a lot of boxes had been unpacked already.

The photo is one of the views from their balcony overlooking Warwick Racecourse. There'll be no need to buy entry tickets on race day; or for concerts presumably, Ali Campbell is appearing on August 21st.

I'm sure they will be very happy in their new home, especially with the balcony to sit on to watch the world go by and the dog walkers and cyclists on the racecourse.
