Half A Mile To The Gyle

My Dear Fellow,

So today I returned to work, feeling much better but a little dazed. Lights were too bright, noises were too loud, conversation was annoying and everything tastes of yuck.

I have decided to feed a cold. I may keep this up for months. It is certainly one way to get through horrid meetings and boring documents.

However, a couple of things to cheer me today. First of all, Princess Normal is getting a puppy. This is very exciting as we will get a chance to meet him in November. I love going to people's houses and ignoring them in favour of their pets. Not that I don't like my friends but PUPPY.

The other thing to lift the spirits today was an unexpected call from Bokhara. He's enjoying retirement a little too much if you ask me, and his spending his time plotting retirement jaunts for old fellows like you and me.

Beware! BEWARE!! You too will get the Third Degree very soon.
