Leonard messel - magnolia

I was surprised to see two magnificent blooms opened on my small scrappy Leonard messel magnolia. It looked as though it wouldn't flower this year and I was thinking of moving it but it caught me out, a real delight.

A mostly overcast day, cold with a hint of dampness in the air. I got most jobs done and things are progressing nicely on the job list and in the garden, but it would be nice to see and feel the sun again.

A few hectic days has lead this to become a backblip. I hope to be back soon but until then thank you for all the hearts, stars and your lovely words, they're always greatly appreciated.
