A Visit to the Palace!

This morning started with my overdue annual blood test for my thyroxine levels. The nurse that took my blood was hilarious and we ended up chatting far longer than we should have. OCD was the main topic which fascinates me but it turns out we also share the same Birthday (On Sunday!) and we have both been through a messy, expensive Divorce and both been to the Rendevous in St Lucia. I went got married on the beach there - she was held at knifepoint!!!! - slightly different scenarios but we had a right laugh chatting. Apologies to the person that was late in after me!!!

I then went to meet Karen, a Blipper most of you will recognise for a Snowdog hunt and Birthday Lunch. We spent a lovely couple of hours chatting in Pizza Express before going back to her house to see her Prosecco Palace where we spent another hour chatting. Its just lovely in there. I couldn't help but blip her beautiful boys who were so obliging as Im sure Karen will be Blipping the Snowdogs!

I then came home to an enormous parcel in the hallway which will be Mr W's cast iron bench ends for our 6th Wedding Anniversary. He clearly took the parcel in and will be wondering what on earth I have been up to!!! He's now got to look at that box till Sunday, scratching his head...hahah!

And now Im just waiting on Mr W to escort me to my appointment with Annette for another treatment on my back at 8pm. Hopefully the rotter won't be there this time.

What a busy old day but very enjoyable. And thank you again Karen for my Birthday Pressie - I love it!
