"Identity" by Nic Farrell

"Mitcham's Models Meet Words Around The Corner."
These  legs, covered in words, were in a photographer's window near Mitcham's Corner, Cambridge, and were part of a student's art project to re-establish the identity of the junction of five busy roads. At long last, the planners are deciding how to improve it. The large Victorian houses reflected in the window had their gardens taken away and the dwellings have been stranded on a huge traffic island for many years along with a bank and an office supplies shop. There is also a small green space, which the local drinkers have taken over. Definitely needing a new identity.
