Song Thrush

This young (think it's a young one) thrush seemed so pleased to be having its photo taken, it just stood there for ages proudly showing off ,with chest out!

Not a lot off sun today, but still a nice Summers day.

Called at the farm shop for veg. A field of three different kinds of kale is at last growing well.
They deliver to quite a lot of elderly people in the area, and we were intrigued to see newspapers in some of the boxes.
Also one lady of 80+ has dog food and bird seed too which they get from Tesco for her!
Well H said some of them can't get out.
Now thats what I call giving a good service and being thoughtful.
(Wish there was a few more like H.!)

Off to get tea.
Fresh crab from the Whitby fish van, followed by salmon with Italian vegetables, new minted potatoes,green beans,and to finish fresh fruit salad ( lovely fruit at the moment, so straws, rasps. peaches, melon, apple,bananas, grapes and fresh orange juice) and ice cream.
With a nice glass of chilled rose wine (brought back from France)
