Tree House

The egret seems to really like this tree since everytime I take my walk in the park I spot him in it! I brought the camera along today and leaned against a cherry tree with plenty of distance between us since I didn't want to scare him off. He was busily preening himself quite nicely until a feather or two got caught in his gullet. A few comical moments ensued as he tried to dislodge it but a few gags and neck stretches later brought him home free and back to preening.

It's pretty hot and humid today but I'm going to go for a bike ride!
