Haweswater

What a difference a day makes.  Woke today to lovely sunshine so we headed over to Haweswater.  

Walked up the hill for some great views over Haweswater reservoir, however this shot is of the stream coming down the hill from Blea Water into the reservoir. Taken with the Super Stopper this is a 176 second exposure.

Stopped off at Pooley Bridge for a delicious scone with strawberry jam and piled high with cream and a hot chocolate. 

Then it was on to Aira Beck where we got some shots of the Upper Falls above Aira Force.  

After a lovely day, dinner tonight was at The Coledale Inn before relaxing in the bar with a few drinks.  

Many thanks to madwill for his advice. I quite agree that the bit of sky in the top right corner was drawing the eye there so I've now taken it out and uploaded a new version :-)
