Today I was authorized to remove three plants
Today I was authorized to gently dig up a plant to replant
Today I was NOT authorized to trim the bushes until MOM got home

Something about trimming things down to the ground so they don't have to be trimmed for a long while.. It seems a mostly universal trait that men trim a bit to much... At least in our family but...
