Punting

Today was a fantastic day. It started with a wonderful lie in, before relaxing in my room until 12.30. I then headed down to college for punting! It was incredibly fun - we had pimms in our boat and we had some great conversation and sightseeing. I found the steering easy (as it's the same as a canoe) but the stick to move was far too heavy and I was usually off to the side by the time I had got it in the water and pushed forwards. I definitely need more practice. 

I then went for a food shop with Lillie before heading back to the house and meeting our new housemate Helen. As she was late arriving, she didn't know anyone so we sat in my room for a couple of hours and I told her all about the uni and how great everyone at the college is. 

I then made lots of chilli for the next few days before heading down to our new graduate common room - luckily just at the bottom of our house, so not a long walk at all! Everyone else is now out clubbing but I have decided to have a more relaxing night - followed by hopefully heading to the gym tomorrow :)
