German sausage

Naff picture which doesn't do today any justice whatsoever but it's the only one I took due to the mayhem. Up at 03.55 for a first flight out of T5 to Düsseldorf with everything going smoothly, other than a lack of sleep, until the fun really begun.

Problems getting hold of the lease car booked for me to drive the 100km over the border into the Netherlands ensued when it was confirmed I shouldn't actually be driving at all because my driving licence had expired... ah. This then set off a huge set of dominoes, that I'm far too tired to go into upon my arrival home at 22.50, that involved hotels, trains, numerous phone calls, conference rooms, airport lounges and spare keys... all of this whilst my car sat merrily at the airport.
